New Kindergarten - More Painting

The building is progressing!! The building has been erected, the plaster applied, the floor layed and now the job that volunteers love - the painting!!! Although there are many willing hands the experience is lacking to some degree. It seems that almost as much paint winds up on the brushes, floor or applicators as on the building. However the spirit is certainly willing.

(Left - being tall helps in the higher areas - the bench gives that extra few inches of reach)

The other down side is that due to the costs the paint is "doctored" to some degree to make it go further. The result is that it is a bit thin and at times doesn't cover much.

(Right - our house handyman, memo is probably the best painter that we have)

Still we have now started. The first coat is a primer applied outside and inside onto the plaster or concrete

(Left - no matter how tall, sometimes we need an extension. Memo tends to the lower parts.)

(Right - John wields the roller on the concrete render.)

(Left - the building looks quite smart with the primer applied.)
