Hi Jake - "Why do elephants like water so much"
An elephant is VERY large and they get very hot, and the water helps them cool off. They also drink a lot each day, as they lose a lot of water through perspiration. They are also clean and use the water to clean up. But after they have cleaned themselves by having a bath they use their trunks to spray dirt over themselves to help protect their skin against sunburn. Also they love to roll in mud, as this also works like a sunburn cream.
