Day 1 - Elephant Park - Intro and Orientation

We had a drive of about 90 minutes to the Park, and then our arrival was just in time for the daily feeding. The elephants know the routine. We were also shown the correct way to feed them - which is to hold the food in such a way that they can grasp it with their trunks, and transfer it to their mouths.

(L - waiting for the food - R - correct feeding)

We were given a short tour of the facilities, before having lunch - along with about 100 day visitors)
